In the changing landscape of the COVID-19 situation, you might have wondered what is happening at Aarons Outdoor. During local area lockdowns, our stores will close, however we will continue to operate from home to answer all of your queries. To ease your concerns, we have further detailed how we are working through this tough situation.
We know that now, more than ever, you need extra space at home to home school, work from home, keep the kids engaged and safe, and give yourself space to relax. That’s why we have refined our processes to keep bringing our space solutions to you and your family, as well as continue to employ as many staff as we can.
Placing Your Order
Sales + Service
Our sales, service and dispatch offices are following LGA health directives to keep you safe. During local area lockdowns, our store will close and continue to operate from home, answering your queries. We welcome you to browse with ease online, and our team are well trained to help you work out what you need and process orders over the phone or by email. If you are unsure of the measurements for your backyard space, we can offer a non-contact Site Inspection subject to updates in health directives (see below).
As our showrooms are outdoors, if appropriate social distances are maintained, you can safely visit our display yards*. Our stores follow health directives by wearing masks, offering QR code scanning, and closing their doors when required. We will always be available over the phone during our open hours if you’re unsure.
As all of our products are designed for your backyard, we do not need to enter your house. We have adopted a Call On Arrival approach so that our customers can arrange access via a gate or roller door. We will maintain our distance from you and your family at all times while we measure your space to customise a solution to best suit you. This is the same approach for our Installation service also – see below.
Bringing your order to you
For most of our timber products, we will have your product in your backyard in 1-5 weeks depending on the product. After you place your order, we send your order either to our Melbourne factory or local warehouse, and arrange the components for your product within the first week. Within the next 1-4 weeks, your product is manufactured and delivered to our local warehouse. Then we deliver it to your backyard. Most of our products are installed within a day, so you will be enjoying your outdoor space straight away. You’re welcome to request your service be contact free. Our factories are based in Australia, so we are not impacted by import and freight restrictions. Our materials are purchased through Australian suppliers, meaning our supply chain is secure. Our manufacturing is low density, so our workers are not coming in personal contact with anyone else. All of this means that we can continue operating to bring you your products quickly.
Delivery + Install
Our Delivery + Install teams mostly work in 2-person teams only. As we do not need to access your house, our service is completely contact-free. So you can sit inside and watch the show – way more fun than Netflix!
